The ECMC Chair in Islamic Studies Award for the first best paper to Sara Zanotta

We are pleased to announce that our supervisor of the editorial staff for the regions MENA, Africa and Asia and deputy chief of the editorial staff of Nuovi Autoritarismi e Democrazie: Diritto, Istituzioni e Società Sara Zanotta received the ECMC Chair in Islamic Studies Mojtaba Mahdavi Award for the first best paper presented at the Graduate Student Virtual Symposium Rethinking MENA and the Muslim World, held on May 31, 2022 at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). Sara Zanotta presented a paper entitled “Rethinking the diffusion of constitutional ideas in the Islamic world”.
